This project was delivered in harsh, remote and extreme environment, the Tanami Desert, NT. Linc Group were engaged to complete the aerodrome apron construction and taxiway rehabilitation. Linc Group removed existing dilapidated pavement down to sub base and imported materials to construct new, compliant pavement, ready for seal and airport traffic.
New drainage and culverts were installed under the new apron, with increased capacity to perform in severe flash flooding events, common in central Australia.
